The High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Program will provide rebates of up to $8,000 for income-qualified households. The Washington Department of Commerce is overseeing a state program that will provide high-income qualified rebates for energy-efficient home upgrades, including heat pumps.

Households making 80% or less of the state’s median income are eligible for rebates of up to $8,000. While these rebates were expected to be available in summer 2025, the last update given to us is Washington State should launch in October of 2025 and Oregon should follow shortly after.
